“MEAT IN DUE SEASON”

    It is a rare pleasure to come across of book so compelling that one has great difficulty in putting it down. I cannot remember being gripped by any written work quite in the same way, apart from perhaps by a few outstanding biographies of some fascinating larger than life historical characters. Yet, when I was given the opportunity to read the second edition of “Meat in Due Season”, I found that I simply could not put it down, and consequently I read it from cover to cover in a matter of days. There is no doubt in my mind that “Meat in Due Season” is a work of the greatest importance, as it carries a most urgent and hugely challenging message for both Christian and Jew alike. The book contains page after page of the most amazing insights, which literally keep the reader glued to its pages, and eager to read and discover more. The author clearly is a man of great courage, as he fearlessly exposes the many falsehoods we have been taught by our peers and elders. Whereas he dares to show us where Christianity has departed from the true path charted by its founder, he also is able to show the way forward to reconciliation between Jew and Christian alike. The author in this work has succeeded in his purpose to create a workable and realistic bridge across the age old entrenched divide between Christianity and Judaism, and this through his inspired illumination of the great statements by the prophets of Israel.  “Meat in Due Season” lives up to its name in that contains a vital message whose time has arrived.

Meat in Due Season - The New Third Edition is a commentary on Judeo Messianic Christianity, a simple clear overview of what it was originally intended to be, what it is not and what it became as the result of erroneous institutional doctrines and teachings. The author presents an interesting, concise and easily read look into the Nazarene Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD that is to come on earth via the reconciliation and reunification between the House of Judah and the House of Israel. Prologue

Beware - Traditions Make Void The Word of G-D

“The scriptural understandings of Modern Christian/Messianic institutions would be greatly enhanced if some of their more influential leaders could be persuaded to make a concerted effort to further their respect and appreciation for the accumulated ‘expertise’ that may be found within Judaism and the “Jewish mind”.  Such an effort would do much to advance and share a better common understanding of G-D’s Holy Word, The Torah and the meaning of His Divine Authority as it applies to all mankind.  It is a pity that so many Christian leaders appear to have forgotten that "Salvation is of the Jew" and seem unwilling to consult the views of the Jewish Sage and scholars, those whose innate knowledge and understanding of the ancient Hebrew Texts and language far out rank their own institutionally moulded scholarship - After all, G-D called Judah to be his Lawgiver.  Christianity with all its institutionalized churches fell away and deviated from their original Messianic foundation. A foundation that was long ago established and enshrined in the Hebrew Torah at Mt. Sinai - in the understanding that G-D is One and that there is no reality other than G-D.  Ignored, for generations, is the need for a full recognition of the cruel and misleadingly violent means that have been employed by the institutionalized Christian churches, especially Vatican Rome and her Daughters, in order to retain power over the laity of all Christendom.

At the same time it would help greatly if both Jew and Rabi were to look up from their defensive traditions and make some kind of effort in order to better understand the basis upon which Hebrew Nazarene Christianity came about and why the early Judean/Nazarene Messianic church was so quickly led astray from its true Hebrew roots.  Why it chose to adopt, pollute and defile itself with the pagan doctrines and traditions that eventually turned it into that, which was never Divinely intended and to become something that their own Yahu’Shuah Messiah and his apostles/disciples would never recognize.

Then perhaps, Judah might be prepared to make way and help those scattered Christian/Messianic sons of Joseph reach for a better understanding of Torah.  This has nothing to do with proselytizing or trying convert each other, Jews should attempt to understand the roots of ‘Original Hebrew/Nazarene Christianity’ – see what it was intended to be, rather than what it became or did and allow room for its altruistic aim.  While on the other hand, Christians should start making a real concerted effort to respect and appreciate the accumulated 'expertise' that may be found within Judaism and the  mind of the Jewish Soul in order to better understand the ways of G-D.  Then, perhaps together, a true vision of the Kingdom of G-d on earth may be become possible for both to share” - Then, perhaps together, a true vision of the Kingdom of G-d on earth may be become possible for both to share.”
